Want To Be Your Friend

"Don’t push me

I’ll go

If you’d just see

I want to be your friend

I’m not just a dumb beast

Some stupid animal

With brains in the least

Just listen and you’d know

All you do is shove

Hit, holler, and hate

Do you not understand love

Or do you not care

If you’d just stop

And not be so determined

To stay on top

And be the boss

Stop yanking the bit

You’re hurting mouth

Why do you feel the need to hit
I didn’t mean to trip"
